Travelling to the King's Buildings

The Kings Buildings is located on the south side of the city, less than two and a half miles from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station and less than two miles from the Central Area.
 
There are a number of transport options to and from the King's Buildings:
 
It takes approximately 45 minutes to walk to the King's Buildings from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station and approximately 30 minutes to walk between the King's Buildings and the Central Area.
 
It takes approximately twenty minutes to cycle to the King's Buildings from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station and approximately ten minutes to cycle between the King's Buildings and the Central Area.
 
Buses from all over the city travel to the King's Buildings. The easiest way to find out which bus to take, the bus stop location and how long your journey will take is to use the Traveline Scotland journey planner.

            -Craigmillar Park Road - Lothian Buses Services 29, 3, 31, 37, 3A, 47, 7, 8, N3, N31, N37, X47*.
 
*Craigmillar Park Road is one of the city's main arterial bus routes and is a short walk from the King's Buildings site. Craigmillar Park Road is accessed by following Hallhead Road and a small path which leads to Craigmillar Park Road.
